Lisa Klipfel, MA, MFT has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in since 1999. Lisa has extensive experience working with young children, teenagers and families. She assists kids in expressing their emotions in a socially acceptable manner, becoming responsible for their behaviors, overcoming fears and develop more productive coping strategies. In addition, she works with parents in refining parenting skills to be more effective, strengthening family bonds, and returning the home to a tranquil and cohesive place.

She offers a full art and play therapy room for children of all ages. She was trained at UCSD by some of the premier leaders of the American Association for Play Therapy. Kids don't realize they are getting help, because they are engaged in activities that allow them to express what is happening in their lives, all while having fun.
